The Fondation still has some wonderful surprises in store for you! Between Meriem Bennani‘s monumental orchestra of flip-flops, displayed across the entire height of the building, and Steffani Jemison‘s exhibition on the 3rd floor, the Fondation is a place of resonance, revolt and new inspiration. To end the year on an unexpected note and discover our incredible building designed by Rem Koolhaas, don’t miss our free guided tours with friends or family. Also on the programme: a performance by Steffani Jemison in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou that questions orientation, a writing workshop with architect Milena Charbit that invites participants to give shape to their ideal environment, a listening session with artist, author and DJ Jace Clayton echoing Meriem Bennani’s installation where percussion rhymes with collective, and for the first time in Paris, an exceptional evening combining performance and cinema with the Egyptian duo nasa4nasa. Finally, our bookshop awaits you to help you unearth some gems and advise you on the most unforgettable gifts and thoughtful touches. Please note that our delightful café-restaurant pluto will be closed for the winter break from 22 December to 3 January. See you soon at the Fondation!
Meriem Bennani
Steffani Jemison
until 8 February 2026
For her solo exhibition Sole crushing, Meriem Bennani stages a monumental orchestra and transforms the Fondation into a vast sound box. Spanning the entire height of the building, the sound installation brings together nearly two hundred flip-flops and tap shoes that play a musical composition by Reda Senhaji (Cheb Runner) at the crossroads of a symphony and an uprising.

In her solo exhibition clear skies / troubled water, Steffani Jemison explores the winds of revolt and the ebb and flow of repression through the prism of natural phenomena (eclipses, wind currents, variations in light and gravity). The artist explores flight as a creative and political gesture: a way of inventing new coordinates, improvising new forms of presence and charting futures that the body can sustain.
