This autumn, discover two exhibitions at the Fondation! Meriem Bennani transforms Lafayette Anticipations with a monumental orchestra of flip-flops evoking the power of collective energies, while Steffani Jemison explores winds of revolt and new breaths of life. Take advantage of free guided tours to uncover the secrets of the works or spend an unforgettable moment with your family at our unmissable Super Kids Party! Also on the programme, a discussion on architecture and cinema with Patricia Mazuy and Patrick Bouchain, moderated by Isabelle Regnier (Le Monde), a writing workshop with architect Milena Charbit, who invites participants to give shape to their ideal environment, and an exceptional concert by the duo Rat Section and Saeira. Stop by pluto, our café-restaurant, where porcini mushrooms meet parmesan garum and gyozas are flavoured with candied lemon. Finally, La Librairie awaits you with a selection of books combining the sounds of gospel and flamenco, stories of Morocco and the vibrancy of pop culture. See you soon at the Fondation!
Meriem Bennani
Steffani Jemison
from 22 October 2025
For her solo exhibition Sole crushing, Meriem Bennani stages a monumental orchestra and transforms the Fondation into a vast sound box. Spanning the entire height of the building, the sound installation brings together nearly two hundred flip-flops and tap shoes that play a musical composition by Reda Senhaji (Cheb Runner) at the crossroads of a symphony and an uprising.

In her solo exhibition clear skies / troubled water, Steffani Jemison explores the winds of revolt and the ebb and flow of repression through the prism of natural phenomena (eclipses, wind currents, variations in light and gravity). The artist explores flight as a creative and political gesture: a way of inventing new coordinates, improvising new forms of presence and charting futures that the body can sustain.
