OPERA III : ZOO « The Day of Heaven and Hell »
until 3 September 2023
OPERA III: ZOO “The Day of Heaven and Hell” is Pol Taburet’s first solo exhibition in an institution. The artist presents paintings and explores new media such as sculpture and installation. The exhibition, in two acts, depicts situations seen through the eyes of the emotions, traumas and passions that bind us to each other.
To tie in with the exhibition’s closing weekend, artist Juliette Blightman is creating a new performance-installation. Feux d’artifice/Burnout presents a series of new paintings, films and sound works by artists and musicians.

→ The installation can be seen from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 September (free admission) and will be activated over two evenings, Friday and Saturday at 7pm.
Every weekend, enjoy our family activities inspired by the world of Pol Taburet’s exhibition!
Focus on our editions
Unique publishing house
Lafayette Anticipations is a unique publishing house that runs a programme of catalogues and monographs, as well as the production of works in situ, in direct collaboration with the artists it hosts.

→ The collection of notebooks – made entirely on site in risography – accompanies the public and offers unpublished content that provides a better understanding of the works and the artists’ approach.

→ The exhibition catalogues published by Lafayette Anticipations are designed as unique objects, the fruit of collaboration between the Fondation and the artists. Richly illustrated, they feature a series of texts by international authors and critics.

→ Artists’ books are publications produced during workshops or residencies in situ, in limited editions. They focus short-circuit practices, or even 100% home-made.
